These Girls are part of a team in Bujagali, organized by Pastor Moses Bagoole, who taught them entrepreneurship
by taking the skills they had learned to perform at events and raise some of the their school tuition costs. Someone, who had a passion for educating, heard of their attempt to be self-sufficient in getting their education. She decided to fund their education and let them focus on their school work. Their costumes were made by the women of the same village who have also put their own life skills to work and begun a sewing business in order to supplement their families incomes. The Pillowcase Project
It started when these little girls below had a project to do at their annual summer camp. They were taught how to sew and to share with little girls in Uganda by making dresses from pillowcases for them. When the girls aunt, the director of the Uganda Mission Project, & co-leader at the camp, saw them she thought it would be great to be able to take many more.
